Day 2- Looking up stuff

As today was a busy day for college I focused on looking up tips and how-to's to get the basics down. What I mainly learned is to
1. Get tanned paper
2. High-light first, go darker than
3. Build colours very gradually
4. Keep layering!
It was all very interesting and I'll use my knew knowledge for tomorrow's drawing!
Here's a video I really enjoyed watching. The art turned out really awesome as well

First day

First day of the challenge.

To start of I showed of my current skill by drawing a strawberry just how I normally draw it. This will be a way to reflect my improvement at the end of these 30 days.

Announcement- First post

Hey there visitor!

A little introduction here. I'm Sully, a 19 year old Graphic Design student from Belgium. I have created this blog with the intention to view my progress through my years of work. Though for now I don't plan on adding older works. Anything that will be uploaded will be from this day onward.

Another thing that needs to be mentioned, this is only meant to show progress. So I won't post all my work here, only studies and exercises. To make it a bit more enjoyable I'm doing art challenges to get better in my art. First challenge--> Month 2 Master, realistic food. I plan to withing a month get better at drawing realistic food. Let's see how that goes!

My progress will be updated daily during a challenge, this does not mean I will daily post art. Sometimes I'll focus on learning new skills rather than making a full piece of art. I hope you enjoy my journey to art.

See you all soon♥
